In 2009, I was diagnosed with a Herniated Disk at the age of 17. After being paralyzed twice by the age of 21 due to multiple disk herniations because of a birth defect on my spine, I discovered that the only movements I could do with little pain was bodyweight movements. I began with learning how to breathe again, how to walk again & once I was able to rebuild myself through calisthenics, I knew I had to share my journey with anyone who would listen.
